Feels like the whole year has been a continuous bad-luck-day. Actually, only today, it's Friday the 13th in 2020. But, here we have some positive AR news to share!

This week brings us an AR DJ set from David Guetta, holographic sports broadcasts, an XR app for on-set direction, an AR smoke sculpture, Nreal's AR glasses set to launch in Japan, and Cadillac joining the AR display club. That's quite a lot, so let's dive in!

Augmented reality is on its way to make us superheroes - by enhancing our senses. Facebook and Apple are up to bettering our hearing and seeing.

Not only is AR amazing in aiding with visual and audio challenges, but it is also great in entertainment. Disney is possibly making moves towards AR experiences! Read on for this week's AR updates!

This week we're on a search for great AR applications, once again. Google and Amazon are both leveling up their game on search bars.

This week also brought us an augmented reality honey water tasting, Apple's AR audio development, and an AR app for the AXR+EXP concert series.

This week we'll focus on the Facebook Connect event. The event looking to the future of AR and VR was organized online earlier this week.
